How do I install Stockly on my Shopify store?
Open this site and enter your .myshopify.com domain, or install from the Shopify App Store. Shopify handles OAuth. After you approve the app, you land in the embedded admin — there is no separate Stockly password.
How do I show widgets on the storefront?
In the theme editor, enable the Stockly app embed (body). For PreOrder offer cards on product pages, add the Pre-order Offer Selector app block. Placement and copy are configured in Stockly Admin.
Do I need to edit my theme’s code?
No. Stockly ships as a Theme App Extension. Add or enable the blocks in the theme editor. Core waitlist, PreOrder, and low-stock UI do not require custom Liquid for standard themes.
What does Back in stock do?
When a product is sold out, shoppers can join a waitlist with email and/or SMS. When inventory returns, you can notify subscribers from the app workflows and settings you configure.
How does PreOrder work?
For products that continue selling when out of stock, PreOrder can replace sold-out with a Pre-order CTA, show badges, availability text, and optional partial payment messaging. Collection, home, and cart surfaces depend on your plan.
What is the mixed cart alert?
When a cart mixes in-stock and PreOrder items, Stockly can show a shipping notice in the cart drawer or cart page. Enable “Show mixed cart alert in cart” on the PreOrder dashboard, then customize the copy.
How does Low stock work?
On product pages, Low stock can show a message such as “Only {{remaining_quantity}} items left in stock!” under Add to cart. You choose whether it shows for all in-stock products or only below a threshold.
What plans are available?
Free (development stores only, all features), Standard ($14.99/mo with 500 email notifications and 500 PreOrders), and Advance ($24.99/mo with unlimited notifications and PreOrders). See Plans inside the app for details.
How do I change or cancel a plan?
Open Stockly → Plans in the embedded admin. Uninstalling cancels Shopify subscriptions according to Shopify’s billing rules.
What data does Stockly store?
Shop-scoped settings, waitlist subscriptions (email/phone as provided), PreOrder and Low stock configuration, and session data needed to run the app. See the Privacy Policy for scopes and retention.
Do shoppers create a Stockly account?
No. Shoppers only use widgets on your storefront. They never create a Stockly login.
How do I contact support?
Use the Support page on this site or email the address listed there. Installed merchants can also reach out from inside the Shopify admin app.
